Our interview process at Stroll is thorough because we’re looking for individuals who want to build a long-lasting, fulfilling career with our company – not just fill a seat. We invest considerable time in the interview process because we know that people are our most important asset. We have high standards and look for people who have them as well.
If you have submitted your resume through one of our postings on a job board or through our web site, you can be sure that our recruiter has seen your credentials. If the recruiter thinks you may have what we’re looking for, he or she will call you and conduct an initial phone screen to talk about your background and what you are looking for to see if there is a potential match.
If you pass the phone screen, you will then be asked to take at least one assessment test that focuses on the skills needed to succeed in the job for which you applied.
With successful skills test results, you will then be set up on a more formal phone interview with the recruiter. This interview will last for about an hour and will focus much deeper on your background and applicable skills. This will also be the time you can ask any questions you may have about the role, the culture of our company and the hiring manager (to whom you’ll be reporting if you’re hired).
Upon completion of a successful phone interview with the recruiter, you will then be scheduled to meet the hiring manager – your potential boss – for a face-to-face interview. This interview will last around 2 hours and you will have a much better feel for the company and what we are about when you leave.
If your interview with the hiring manager goes well, you will then be asked to take a personality assessment. This will be on your own time, online and in the privacy of your own home.
Following the personality assessment, you will then come in for a final interview and you will meet the hiring manager again and other members of the team with whom you would work. This interview is the time for both sides to decide if there are any concerns and to address those concerns.
Within a few days, you will then be contacted by the recruiter and notified if we are going to give you an offer. The offer would be contingent upon the successful completion of reference checks and a background check.
